Andreas Bärwald is a Senior Manager and Senior Expert for Software with more than 15 years professional experience in different positions. Over the years he worked as Vice President, Business Unit Manager, Business Line Manager, Team Manager, Project Manager, Technical Certifier, Lead Assessor, Senior Consultant, Trainer and Sales Manager in a global setup. His current position is Head of Software Solutions at TÜV SÜD Product Service. Andreas is a regular speaker at conferences, co-host of the safe.tech conference, a member of several industry and standardization committees. He was participating several German and European research projects and has a close relationship to research organizations and universities. Andreas is a member of the executive board of the “Industry Business Network 4.0” and a member of the advisory board of the “Software Compliance Academy”. He is representing TÜV SÜD at the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC).
